Hockey SA is undertaking work to reintroduce a Masters (35+) competition/s in South Australia. They are seeking input from players past and present as to whether there is enough interest in forming a competition for Season 2026.
Please complete the survey below if you are of or approaching Masters' age and are interested in playing Masters.
This survey is critical. Your responses will directly influence:
Whether there is sufficient player demand to form a competition
Preferred match format (weeknight vs weekend)
Season length and structure (including finals or no finals)
Team models (club-based, combined teams, or mixed βBarbarianβ teams)
Cost considerations and affordability
Whether alternative or modified formats need to be explored
To move forward, Hockey SA need confidence that there are enough players willing to commit. Without strong participation in this survey, it will be difficult to justify progressing the competition.
Even if you are unsure whether you would play, your feedback is still incredibly valuable and will help Hockey SA better understand barriers, preferences, and potential solutions.
